Render Team Technical Lead

• Deep technical background in render work: V-Ray, 3D models, and finish work.
• English speaking, comfortable working cross-functionally with the US team.
• Strong QC instincts - able to spot and correct render inaccuracies independently.
• Expert-level proficiency in Autodesk 3ds Max (modeling, UV mapping, scene optimization).
• Advanced V-Ray expertise: lighting setups, material/shader creation, render settings optimization, and
GI/lighting engines (Brute Force, Light Cache, ETC.).
• Strong understanding of PBR workflows and physically accurate material authoring.
• Proficiency with render farm/distributed rendering systems (V-Ray Swarm, Deadline, Backburner, ETC.).
• Scripting/automation skills (MaxScript, Python) for pipeline tools and batch rendering.
• Familiarity with color management/pipelines (ACES, OCIO).
• Knowledge of post-production integration (compositing in Nuke, After Effects, or Photoshop).
• Understanding of asset optimization for performance (polycount, texture resolution, LODs).
• Understanding of furniture design, construction, and finishes.
• Experience creating layered, textured materials using UV maps, bump maps, and normal maps.
• Advanced experience with complex lighting and camera setups for photoreal room-scene rendering.
• Advanced experience in organic mesh-based modeling for soft surfaces like upholstery.
• Experience translating factory finish and material content into digital assets.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Cylindo.
• Advanced knowledge of V-Ray and other Chaos products.
• Experience using AI tools within render programs to improve workflow efficiency.
• Experience working with soft goods such as sofas, upholstery, and bedding
