SCHOOL TRANSLATOR AND CONTENT CREATOR
General
• To perform translation of documents and interpretation in meetings/conference/seminars/parent meetings.
• To participate in the school's performance management programme.
• To undergo in-service training where required.
• To observe and implement current school policies, procedures and good practice.
• To carry out such particular duties as Director of Admissions and Marketing may reasonably direct from time to time.
Specific Responsibilities
To provides professional high quality translation and interpretation from Vietnamese to English language and vice versa, ensuring translated content conveys original meaning and tone.
The documents for translation include but not limited:
• Weekly highlights
• School's publications such as Viewpoint, Yearbook; Kaleidoscope; Alumni
• Curriculum introduction booklets such as IGCSE, A Levels and leaflet, brochure, information for the website, Hub Articles, banners ext. from Admissions and Marketing
• Activities booklet; Seminar material
• Admissions documents: Application Form, Medical certificate, agreement...
• Policies and procedures of school and NAE Group
• Take part in preparation process of those events including administrative and secretarial tasks if required.
• Checking and responsible for contents of promotion products before printed
• Filing and maintaining relevant information and database
• Delivery of quality written text within short deadlines; Prioritizing work to meet deadlines
• Liaising with and supporting internal and external admin jobs, sharing of information and knowledge.
School events or meetings require interpretation include but not limited:
• Different seminars, workshops run by Academic team
• Open days for prospective parents
• Different events: Tet festival, Mid Autumn festival, Christmas event,...
• Teacher- Parent meetings
In addition of more priority jobs interpretation and translation, the post holder will involve in creating and developing contents for school events and communication materials (MAC projects)
Working time: Monday to Friday (8AM to 5PM)

Qualifications/Training
 Degree/Diploma in relevant fields
Experience / Knowledge
 Proven experience in office administration and management tasks
 Relevant qualifications in office administration
 Experience of working in a school or a similar role
 Experience of academic excellence in a school environment
 Safer Recruitment Training
Skills
 Excellent command of English
 Ability to communicate well with all levels of people in both English and Vietnamese; excellent bilingual in all components - reading, writing, speaking and listening.
 Strength in using ICT e.g. Office 365, familiarity with translation software
 Comprehension in Administration skills
 Relevant first aid knowledge
