Role Description
The Security Operation Center (SOC) Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Viettel Tower.
This position oversees day-to-day SOC operations, including monitoring security events, managing incident response activities, and ensuring timely escalation and resolution of security issues.
The SOC Manager leads and mentors the analyst team, defines operational procedures, and coordinates with other technical and business units to maintain effective security posture.
Responsibilities include optimizing monitoring tools, reviewing threat intelligence, managing vulnerability remediation processes, and producing regular reports on security trends and performance.
The role also requires maintaining alignment with organizational security policies, supporting audits, and continuously improving SOC workflows and capabilities.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Operations Management skills, including team leadership, process optimization, and incident management.
Candidates should possess Cybersecurity expertise, including threat detection, incident response, and security best practices.
Candidates should possess Network Security skills, such as configuring and monitoring firewalls, IDS/IPS, and secure network architectures.
Candidates should possess Vulnerability Management experience, including assessment, prioritization, and coordination of remediation activities.
Candidates should possess Physical Security knowledge related to securing SOC facilities and critical infrastructure environments.
Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field are preferred.
Professional certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+) are advantageous.
Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills, with the ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions in high-stakes situations.
Experience managing or supervising SOC teams or similar security operations functions is highly beneficial.
