***Job Purpose:
• The Senior Accountant is responsible for accounting operations across three entities within the Group: a make-to-order furniture manufacturing company, a Vietnam-based trading company, and a US-based trading company.
• The role covers statutory compliance, management reporting, inventory cost control, and financial operations, with the scope of responsibilities varying by entity as set out below.

The three entities operate under a shared Group Finance function. The Senior Accountant is the primary point of accountability for the responsibilities allocated to each entity below.

***Key Responsibilities:
1. Inventory Recording & Cost Allocation (Vietnam Trading & US Trading):
• Maintain accurate inventory records for both trading entities from purchase order through to sale.
• Allocate landed costs to inventory, including freight, insurance, customs duties, and other import-related charges, ensuring cost per unit reflects total delivered cost.
• Perform month-end inventory reconciliations and investigate discrepancies against physical counts or system records.
• Coordinate with logistics and commercial teams to ensure timely and accurate goods-received entries.
2. Tax Compliance:
VAT (Vietnam Trading & Manufacturing):
• Prepare and submit monthly/quarterly VAT declarations for both entities.
• Reconcile VAT input and output accounts; manage VAT refund applications where applicable.
• Maintain supporting documentation for all VAT transactions.
Foreign Contractor Tax (FCT) (Vietnam Trading & Manufacturing):
• Identify FCT-liable transactions (cross-border service payments, royalties, etc.).
• Withhold, declare, and remit FCT on behalf of foreign contractors in accordance with Vietnamese tax regulations and applicable DTAs.
Corporate Income Tax (CIT) (Vietnam Trading only):
• Prepare quarterly CIT provisional calculations and annual CIT finalisation for the Vietnam trading entity.
• Maintain transfer pricing documentation for intercompany transactions within the Group.
• Liaise with external tax advisors and the tax authority as required.
3. Expense Review & Payment Processing:
• Review and approve payment requests for operational and ad-hoc expenses (suppliers, logistics, admin).
• Verify supporting documents for validity, accuracy, and compliance with internal policy before authorising disbursement.
• Prepare payment schedules aligned to cash flow planning and ensure timely execution.
• Record and reconcile all outgoing payments in the accounting system.
• Prepare quarterly Royalty and monthly Commission report.
4. Full-cycle Bookkeeping & Accounts Receivable:
• Perform end-to-end bookkeeping for the Vietnam trading entity:
purchasing, inventory, sales, expenses, and intercompany transactions, in compliance with Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS).
• Monitor accounts receivable, follow up on overdue balances, and confirm incoming payments to the commercial team for order release.
• Support cash flow tracking and align collection schedules with shipment plans.
5. Cross-functional Coordination (All Entities):
• Reconcile intercompany balances between manufacturing, Vietnam trading, and US trading on a monthly basis.
• Ensure cost allocations from manufacturing to trading entities are accurate and properly documented.
• Prepare Monthly Management Reporting to BOD.
