Senior Accountant - taxation full-time 2024

This position is responsible for:
Checking, reconciliation figures for the purpose of maintaining and strengthening the tax compliance status of SPVB;
Preparation of internal reports set including analysis, forecast, and summary report to support decision-making and tax planning; and
In charge of necessary works in relation to insurance (except for car insurance).
Job Responsibilities
Be responsible for working with the Reporting Team for the preparation of CIT returns and to ensure that the tax is paid in the most efficient way
Main in charge of preparation for some tax reconciliation reports such as VAT and CIT revenue reconciliation, etc. to support manager in identifying systematic tax issues to ensure sufficient tax declaration;
Assist line manager in carrying out tax projects to improve benefits/ minimize tax risks where required;
Coordinate with internal departments and external consultants to ensure tax payment in the most efficient way and benefit from any tax advantages and exemptions;
Be responsible for the preparation and submission of DTA applications for applicable contracts to support CAPEX cost savings;
Coordinate with team members to keep up to date with changing tax laws, and analyze the implications;
Coordinate with relevant parties to maintain internal reports set, including analysis, forecast, and summary report to support decision making and tax planning;
Support on procedures for profit remittance and other liaison with tax authorities;
Support manager with works in relation to insurance (except for car insurance);
Other ad hoc tasks assigned by the line manager.
Skills And Experience
BA degree in tax accounting/ accounting/ finance/ auditing; CPA Australia / ACCA (UK) is preferred
Hand-on experience on tax training, tax health check, tax audit
Experienced in manufacturing and large scale companies is preferred
BA degree in tax accounting/ accounting/ finance/ auditing; CPA Australia / ACCA (UK) is preferred
PC skill: SAP, Power BI, advanced excel (power query, power pivot)
Good knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance, and all types of tax returns
Hardworking, flexible, good logic and commercial mindset; strong project management skills and influence skills
Ability to work independently and proceed with objectives with minimal supervision
Fluent English speaking & and writing skills
