POSITION PURPOSE:
As an Automation Developer, you will have the opportunity to join our Operations Excellence team, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing digital solutions to tackle challenges in Logistics and Planning - including transportation management, warehouse management, and route optimization. You'll work as part of an agile, cross-functional team, leveraging your programming expertise to deliver impactful solutions that drive efficiency and innovation in the fast-paced retail industry.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Collaborating closely with the Technical Lead and
Business Analyst to understand key business challenges in the logistics domain, with a focus on Transportation Management and Warehouse Management.
- Utilizing your expertise in C# and ASP.NET to develop applications for warehouse management and delivery services, integrating features such as inventory tracking, order processing, and route optimization.
- Designing and implementing effective data management and processing solutions to enhance the performance and functionality of warehouse and delivery systems.
- Contributing to comprehensive documentation of system features, architecture, and user flows to ensure maintainability and knowledge sharing.
WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:
Programming Proficiency:
- Proficient in C# and ASP.NET Core, with solid experience in MVC, Web API, Clean Architecture, and Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles, SOLID, design patterns, and clean code practices.
- Hands-on experience in designing and developing microservices, and event-driven architectures using message brokers such as Kafka, RabbitMQ.
- Strong experience in database design in SQL, with a focus on query optimization and high-performance data handling.
- Working experience with modern front-end frameworks like React, Vue, or Angular.
- Proficient in HTML/CSS/JavaScript, including responsive design.
- Strong experience in communication protocols, especially RESTful API design and implementation.
- Strong understanding of security standards including OAuth2, JWT, and OWASP Top 10.
- Solid understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) concepts, especially in Natural Language Processing (NLP) is advantageous.
- Experience with GCP ML services (Vertex AI, Vision API, NLP API, etc.).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud platforms such as GCP is a plus.
- Knowledge of Git, Jira for version control.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or
Software Engineering
- From 2 to 3 years of professional experience in software development.
- Experienced in Manufacturing and Logistics domains, preferably within a Manufacturing or Logistics company.
- Problem-solving: Ability to identify and solve technical data analysis and modeling challenges.
- Learning Agility: Eagerness to learn new concepts and technologies quickly.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to work meticulously and ensure the accuracy of results.
- Versatility in Work Environment: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, with strong communication skills and adept problem-solving abilities.
