Live Payments is seeking an experienced Senior Backend Developer to join our growing/ multi-national team. Reporting directly to our Vietnam-based Team Lead, the Backend Developer will work closely with the development team to design and build applications for our growing product portfolios.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement high-throughput, low-latency backend services using [protected info] and Golang
Build and maintain high-performance APIs with strict performance and reliability requirements
Design and maintain scalable microservices capable of handling high transaction volumes
Ensure idempotency, consistency, and fault tolerance across processing flows
Implement robust error handling, retry strategies, and reconciliation processes
Work closely with DevOps teams to improve observability, monitoring, and alerting
Participate in architecture and performance design reviews
Conduct code reviews with a strong focus on performance, security, and reliability
