* Position Summary:
- The Senior Cage Cashier is responsible for overseeing and performing cash transactions within the casino environment, ensuring accuracy, security, and compliance with gaming regulations. This role involves supervising junior cashiers, managing large transactions, balancing cash drawers, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cash handling, strong leadership skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Key Responsibilities:
+ Oversee and perform cash transactions with customers in a prompt and accurate manner.
+ Exchange currency, chips, and Tito tickets for cash.
+ Supervise and assist junior cashiers in their daily tasks.
+ Maintain and balance multiple cash drawers, ensuring accurate counts and secure handling.
+ Handle large transactions and verify their accuracy.
+ Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
- Ensure compliance with all internal controls, policies, and procedures related to cash handling.
- Collaborate with security and surveillance teams to maintain the integrity of cash operations.
- Prepare and review daily reports and reconciliations.
- Report any discrepancies, unusual transactions, or suspicious activities to the Cage Supervisor.
- Conduct regular audits and inventory counts.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to anti-money laundering policies and reporting procedures.
- Train new cashiers on proper procedures and protocols.
- Support the Cage Supervisor and other team members as needed.
