Senior Compliance Business Partner

An interesting job opportunity to join WTW. The role will be reporting to the Compliance Director - AsiaPac within a team of skilled colleagues, as A Senior Compliance Business Partner - Vietnam is a key contributor to the departments' aim of maintaining an efficient, independent Compliance Function at WTW Vietnam.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Compliance Strategy and Implementation:
o Develop, implement, embed and maintain an efficient and independent Compliance Function.
o Monitor regulatory changes and ensure compliance with new regulations.
o Closure of Compliance owned actions and supporting the closure of regulatory recommendations following internal/external audits.
o Assess and update policies, procedures, and controls to meet compliance standards.
o Implement compliance training for all departments at WTW Vietnam and ensure all staff are informed about relevant regulations.
2. Support and Advisory:
o Act as a compliance champion across the business, providing risk-based advice.
o Collaborate with management to define and implement compliance strategies.
o Advise on ethical standards, business conduct, and regulatory requirements.
o Serve as the Money Laundering Responsible Officer for Willis Towers Watson Vietnam Insurance Broker if required in future.
o Responsible for management of the anti-money laundering program in the Relevant Business; including coordination of annual anti-money laundering training; serve as the key focal point for all activity within the Relevant Business relating to anti-money laundering; responsible for oversight of the Relevant Business' compliance with the regulator's rules on systems and controls against money laundering.
o Serve as the Data Protection Officer for Willis Towers Watson Vietnam Insurance Broker
o Investigate suspected, alleged or actual breaches of regulatory requirements or WTW Compliance policies and procedures within the Relevant Business and ensure resolution. Develop corrective action plans and track implementation status for revisions of other compliance-related controls.
o Assist in designing and reviewing business processes, products, and services.
3. Monitoring and Reporting:
o Conduct compliance monitoring activities and ensure remedial actions are taken.
o Provide compliance metrics and information to stakeholders.
o Support internal and external audits with accurate compliance records.
4. Engagement and Relationship Management:
o Maintain effective relationships with regulators and relevant supervisory authorities or self-regulating bodies
o Represent WTW in relevant industry or similar associations or groups as appropriate.
o Act as a professional, trusted and transparent Business Partner to the Relevant Business and other stakeholders.
o Ensure quality and proactive engagement with the Relevant Business at all levels,
o Partner with management in the Relevant Business and foster a collaborative approach to embedding 'compliance culture' throughout the business and to support the Three Lines of Defence model.
o As a representative of the Second Line of Defence, monitor and facilitate the implementation of effective regulatory risk management practices by operational management in the Relevant Business and assist the risk owners in reporting adequate risk related information up and down the organization.
o Foster close relationships with other Functions including Legal, Risk and Internal Audit.
