Senior DevOps Engineer

OVERALL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Accountable for the development of CD/CI and automation activities in the Enterprise Data Platform (EDP) strictly following D&A guardrails and playbooks
- Subject matter expert in key D&A technology platform components that support the end to end CD/CI
- Applies a platform and framework mentality to absolutely everything he does
- Develops proofs of concepts / MVPs / pilots for new DevOps and CD/CI features based on EDP tooling
- Responsible for the completeness, accuracy and publication of guardrails and playbooks
- Has delivered data projects at enterprise scale using DevOps and CD/CI
- Drives and execute a ruthless focus of non-negotiable continuous improvement for EDP
- Able innovate and think out-of-the-box to implement new platform improvements on the EDP
- Is obsessed on using DevOps and CD/CI to drive platform performance, resilience & cost effectiveness
- Can act as subject matter expert into the D&A for any platform technology discussions
DAY TO DAY ACTIVITIES
- Implements high-quality platform features using EDP technologies and strictly following D&A Platform Engineering Playbook
- Applies a software engineering mentality to everything related to operating EDP
- Ensures consistency and coherent implementation of code according to platform standards
- Does not stop looking for ways to automate manual activities all EDP environments
- Creates the required digital content to platform features are documented and understood
- Provides continuous feedback to make EDP platform great
- Attends and collaborates in all standard agile cadences (daily, weekly, etc.)
