Senior Dyeing Supervisor

Job Summary
The Senior Dyeing Supervisor oversees all dyeing production activities, ensuring fabric quality, process accuracy, machine efficiency, and workforce performance meet company standards. This role requires strong technical expertise in dyeing processes, leadership capabilities, and the
ability to troubleshoot complex dyeing issues. The Senior Dyeing Supervisor also assists in
improving production processes, and guiding junior supervisors.
Job Responsibilities
• Plan and organize daily/shift dyeing schedules according to production plans and delivery dates.
• Ensure machines are efficiently allocated and fully utilized.
• Coordinate with preparation, finishing, QA, maintenance, and planning departments to secure smooth workflow.
• Ensure dye chemicals, auxiliaries, and colorants are prepared and issued correctly.
• Monitor dyeing processes, machine parameters, and recipe execution to ensure consistent
fabric quality.
• Conduct in-process quality inspections and take immediate corrective action on color shading, stains, uneven dyeing, etc.
• Ensure SOPs, dyeing standards, and color matching guidelines are followed strictly.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting for complex dyeing issues
• Work closely with the lab team on recipe optimization and shade approval.
• Supervise dyeing supervisors and shift leaders.
• Guide junior supervisors in decision-making, quality control, and workflow planning.
• Maintain discipline and ensure compliance with workplace safety and company regulations.
• Monitor machine performance, cycle time, and efficiency.
• Work with maintenance team on preventive maintenance and quick recovery of breakdowns.
• Ensure correct handling, storage, and usage of dyes and chemicals to avoid waste and contamination.
