*** Position: (Senior) Engineer Industrial Engineering
*** Belong to: Quality Assurance
*** Work location: Bac Ninh
*** Job Purpose:
Take the responsibilities for the design and construction of the production layout specially on the equipment and tools, to ensure the new product and the mass production with the high-quality.
Act as the Industrial Engineering representative for the company at EMS (third-party manufacturing partners).
*** Key Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for machine, jig/fixture, and test equipment evaluation and control used in EMS production lines from NPI, trial run to mass production phase.
- Review, design, and approve production line layouts including: Line balancing & manpower allocation, Material flow & logistics layout, space utilization & expandability
- Evaluate machine capability proposed by EMS: Cycle time (CT), capacity, stability, repeatability,
Potential risks impacting quality and productivity
- Work closely with Engineering, Quality, SCM, and EMS teams to: Identify bottlenecks, productivity loss, and quality risks
- Drive layout, process flow, and automation improvements
- Monitor and control: Layout or process changes at EMS,Compliance with SOPs, WIs, and IE-related control plans
- Support EMS factory audits related to IE readiness and production capability.
Yêu cầu
- Bachelor's degree in industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, or related fields.
- 5+ years of IE experience, preferably in: EMS / contract manufacturing environment, Machine, jig/fixture, and test equipment management
- Solid understanding of: Production line layout design & evaluation, Cycle time analysis, line balancing, productivity, OEE
- Work independently with EMS partners, Communicate technical topics clearly and effectively
- Fluent English or Japanese in oral and writing, which can be as the working language, Japanese is preferred.
- Good office skills at Microsoft office such as Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Result oriented, ability to multi-task, negotiation and problem-solving skills with partners.
- A team player, good communication and coordination skills which can support build interactions among multiple functions.
- High motivation, sense of responsibility, self-discipline & willing to learn.
