The Job
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ERP Consultant to join our consulting team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ERP systems, project management, and business process optimization. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving abilities, capable of leading projects and guiding clients through complex ERP implementations and upgrades.
Responsibilities
REQUIREMENTS & BUSINESS ANALYSIS
- Conduct comprehensive business process analysis to identify client needs, objectives, and challenges for small-sized projects.
- Develop detailed system requirements and specifications based on client needs.
- Provide expert guidance on ERP best practices, system configurations, and process optimization.
- Assist with data migration, system integration, and testing as part of the implementation process.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
- Lead small-sized discovery and implementation projects, including requirements gathering, system setup, configuration, and customization to align with client business processes.
- Create and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and status reports.
- Proactively manage project risks and resolve issues to ensure smooth execution.
- Deliver project outcomes on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards and client expectations.
- Develop and implement change management strategies to drive user adoption of the ERP system.
EXTERNAL COMMUNICATION & CLIENT FACING
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions for stakeholders and end users to ensure successful system adoption.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshoot client issues post-implementation in a timely manner.
INTERNAL COMMUNICATION & MENTORSHIP
- Mentor and coach junior consultants, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
- Contribute to knowledge-sharing activities and ensure high-quality deliverables across projects.
Your Skills and Experience
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Good knowledge of leading ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite or Odoo) and related technologies.
- Good project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and the ability to solve complex problems independently.
- Willingness to work at night to communicate with clients in the US several days a week.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Prior experience in ERP consulting, with a proven track record of successful project delivery is preferred.
- Good understanding of business processes across various industries, including finance, supply chain, manufacturing, retail and field services is preferred.
- Experience with ERP implementation is a plus, ideally with the most prominent and widely used in the industry such as Odoo (preferred).
