Through HALI Global Education, we advise students and families on international education pathways, with a particular focus on Australia and New Zealand.
Beyond education, HALI Global also works with clients exploring global residency, investment and mobility opportunities, including some of the world's leading investor migration programmes such as New Zealand's Active Investor Plus Visa.
As HALI continues to expand, we are looking for an experienced Senior Global Education & Mobility Counselor to join our Ho Chi Minh City team.
The Opportunity
This is not a traditional Education Counselor role.
We are looking for someone with a strong foundation in International Education who is ready to broaden their career into Global Mobility and Global Citizenship advisory.
You will work with students, parents, professionals, entrepreneurs and high-net-worth families whose needs may extend beyond choosing a university or submitting a student application.
Their conversations may involve
Education → Career → Global Mobility → Residency → Investment → Long-term family planning.
You will have the opportunity to develop a much broader understanding of how international education connects with career opportunities, global mobility and long-term residency strategies.
What You Will Do
You will
Advise students and families on study opportunities in Australia and New Zealand, including universities, schools and suitable education pathways.
Understand each client's academic background, career objectives and longer-term international plans.
Manage prospective students from initial consultation through application, offer, enrolment and pre-departure stages.
Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with students and parents.
Identify clients whose needs may extend beyond education into global mobility, residency or investment opportunities.
Introduce relevant HALI Global services and coordinate clients with the appropriate licensed migration adviser or specialist.
Develop knowledge of selected global mobility and investment programmes across New Zealand, Australia and Europe.
Participate in private client meetings, seminars, education events and partner events.
Work with HALI's growing network of banks, wealth management professionals, property partners, professional firms and other referral partners.
Maintain accurate client information and follow-up activities through the company's CRM system.
Contribute to building HALI Global Education's presence and client network in Vietnam.
Who We Are Looking For
We would like to meet candidates who have:
At least 3-5 years of experience in International Education counselling, student recruitment or admissions.
Strong experience advising students for Australia and/or New Zealand.
Good understanding of university admissions and the international student journey.
Strong communication, consultation and relationship-management skills.
Confidence communicating with parents, senior professionals, business owners and affluent families.
A consultative mindset rather than a purely transactional or sales-driven approach.
Strong Vietnamese communication skills and professional working English.
The curiosity and ambition to expand beyond Education into Global Mobility and Global Citizenship.
Previous experience in investment migration is not required.
What matters more is a strong International Education foundation, the ability to understand sophisticated client needs and the willingness to develop into a broader advisory role.
