• Oversee execution of compliance processes and controls within the Company business. Ensuring the Company activities comply with internal compliance rules, external regulatory requirements such as Vietnamese law and specific regulations.
• Strengthen the compliance infrastructure and that appropriate compliance processes and controls are developed, documented and implemented.
• Formulate, implement, and monitor the compliance work plan for the designated scope, including the development of compliance audit checklists to guide business activities.
• Conduct regular compliance gap analysis of internal controls to ensure compliance with various applicable laws; recommend and implement remedial actions and improvements
• Perform contract compliance management.
• Produce and maintain relevant compliance policies and departmental procedures.
• Monitor regulatory developments to update the Company's compliance policies and advise the management and relevant units accordingly.
• Review and assess new business projects and design of compliance controls to ensure adherence to company policy and procedures; delivery appropriate solutions to ensure robust and appropriate compliance controls are implemented.
• Act as an escalation point for compliance queries from other business areas, and providing consultation on compliance procedures and regulatory content to internal stakeholders.
• Perform internal compliance monitoring activities, including verifying, recording, and promptly reporting compliance violations or related incidents/issues to management.
• Setting up and processing the legal compliance training program.
Yêu cầu
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Law or higher degree from a reputable university.
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in reputable law firm(s) or company (ies) as an in-house lawyer/compliance, in which 2 years for management level.
• Experience in the intermediary payment services and banking products and operations.
• Experience in designing and maintaining a Compliance framework is an advantage.
Domain Expertise & Skills
• Deep understanding of data governance and data privacy, technology, information security, and cybersecurity, covering online banking systems, graded information systems, security solutions, and compliance with international standards (ISO, AML/CFT frameworks, technical standards).
• In-depth expertise in contract law and legal regulations ensuring general corporate compliance (e.g., labor, enterprise, and intellectual property matters).
• Good understanding of the Vietnamese legal framework regulations and compliance practices.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking, communication, presentation and improvement mindset.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
