BRITISH UNIVERSITY VIETNAM (BUV)
British University Vietnam (BUV) is the first and only international university in Vietnam to directly award British degrees from the prestigious University of London and Staffordshire University. BUV is rated a 5 Star university of excellence by the world recognised QS accreditor, and is also recognised with a University-wide accreditation from the UK's Quality Assurance Agency (QAA).

POSITION PURPOSE
The role is to provide support to International Mobility (IM)'s Manager in managing general operations of the Department and its space, which is to ensure a smooth, professional and efficient working environment for its staff and visiting students/stakeholders;
This role also provides support to IM's Manager in developing and promoting the internationalisation portfolio for the University.
This role plays a critical role in the International Mobility in facilitating international student support services, international engagement and partnership engagement activities on campus.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Departmental Administration and Budget Management
- Provide comprehensive administrative tasks, including handling payments, travel/logistic bookings, service bookings, stationery purchase on a monthly basis for the Office and its staff(s), coordinate with relevant departments to ensure admin procedure compliance in accordance with the University's policies and processes;
- Oversee daily operations of IM Lounge;
- Work closely with the IM Manager in managing, tracking the Department's operational budget;
- Work closely with IM Manager in preparing and updating Departmental reports and KPIs achievement reports on a regular basis (monthly/quarterly);
- Assist the IM Manager with up-to-date information resources of the Department, such as policies, procedures, project documents, partnership agreements, marketing materials...
- Provide translation support and other administrative duties when assigned by the IM Manager;
- Conduct research when assigned by the IM Manager.
Mobility and International Engagement Activities
- Coordinate logistics and administrative support tasks for IM's mobility programmes;
- Manage the mobility budget, ensuring sufficient allocation and expenditure of funds according to the approved programme's proposal;
- Provide support when required to the planning and execution of mobility programmes and international engagement activities/events (online workshops or International Connections Day, ect) for students in BUV.
International Student Support Services
- Coordinate and support inbound mobility programme with onboarding process for international students, including pre-arrival information preparation, welcome package arrangement, etc..
- Work closely with the inbound mobility team to support planning, recruitment and execution of the BUV Local Home and BUV Local Buddy programme;
Internationalisation Portfolio Development and Promotion
- Assist IM Manager in developing and promoting BUV's internationalisation portfolio;
- Support the IM Manager in developing and maintaining comprehensive informative resources for diverse stakeholder groups (students, parents, partners, and the general public). This will contribute to elevating BUV's international profile and brand recognition

COMPETENCIES (knowledge, skills, and abilities)
Essential
- Vietnamese national.
- Holder of a Bachelor degree;
- Fluent in English, both verbal and written communication skills (IELTS or equivalent : 7.0 or above);
- Excellence in Computer literacy skills: MS Office applications (PPT., DOC., EXCEL., OUTLOOK)
- Experience in administration and operational development from a multi-national organisation;
