Senior Process Engineer

1. Objective of Position
The primary role of this position is to provide daily supports for both RDP offshore and onshore to maintain safe, reliable and efficient operations of RDP processing systems. This position holder also provides process engineering supports for project teams of Zarubezhneft EP VN in development, engineering and commissioning phases before operations:
• Ensure topside gas/condensate/produce water processing systems and equipment operated safely, reliably and in full compliance with the company OMS, latest industrial standards and regulatory requirements.
• Effective management of performance of topside gas/condensate/produce water processing equipment to the design standards and explore the opportunities to enhance their performance.
• Providing supports for Process Safety in operations and in any brownfield project.
• Anticipate system bottlenecks and manage de-bottle necking to grow production.
• Lead in process engineering study opportunity to sustain and develop the business (operations and projects).
The post holder is a member of Engineering Team - directly reports to the Engineering Team Manager.
2. Main Functions
Direct Functions
List of tasks, actions and processes performed by the employee holding this position and within his/her sphere of personal responsibility - not involving continuous participation by colleagues, line manager and / or subordinates
+ Block 11.2:
• Develop performance criteria and KPI to access overall Rong Doi platform facilities process operations.
• Monitor Rong Doi platform daily process plant performance to provide resolution and troubleshooting for any process engineering related issues.
• Carry out technical studies and field testing to optimize Rong Doi platform production including recertification and de-bottlenecking studies.
• Provide ad-hoc work for modeling and simulation works to optimize Rong Doi platform operations.
• Review, update and approve operating procedures, operating envelop and alarm and trip register to ensure validity and applicability of documentation for Rong Doi operations.
• Use HYSYS & PIPESIM process simulation to predict process performance.
+ Projects (Block 12/11, Rong Doi Moi, Tuna...):
• Provide process engineering supports to greenfield or brownfield projects during feasibility studies and designs (Pre-FEED, FEED).
• Provide process engineering supports to assist project manager(s) in development of new fields (ODP, FDP).
• Supervision of Contractor's process design work.
• Assure process safety via providing adequate process engineering supports during pre-commissioning and commissioning of greenfield and brownfield projects.
• Provide operational support after handover of facilities from Contractor where required.
+ Other roles:
• Take the process discipline SPA (Technical Authority) in development and technical endorsement of MOC proposals.
• Provide assurance as Process Technical Authority in engineering reviews/risk assessments and approval process for any deviation of normal operating practices.
• Lead HAZOP, HAZID studies for the company facilities.
• Complete tasks assigned by line managers within own competence.
• Comply with all company HSE requirements for the job and as a minimum with all HSE requirements including golden safety rules
• Strictly comply with Zarubezhneft's Policy on Combatting Corruption and all relevant procedures of Zarubezhneft Vietnam in the implementation of the Policy.
Joint Functions
List of tasks, actions and processes within the area of responsibility of a specific team (department, group etc.), i.e. that are performed through continuous interaction with colleagues, immediate superior and/or subordinates.
Cross-discipline supports:
- Provide process engineering supports to the hydrocarbon allocation team in reviewing HYSYS models of monthly condensate allocation simulation and create new Condensate allocation HYSYS model.
- Provide technical justification and coordination with third parties in the implementation of Block 11.2's existing agreements (AA, TA, GSPA, AAMM, TIA...).
Extended process engineering supports to other Zarubezhneft assets.

• Nam Con Son Pipeline (NCSP) and Operators of Block 12/11, Block 12W, Block 05-2&05-3: Work on operational issues and support in executing the existing agreement (TA, AA, CTA, etc.,).
• Operator of Block 12/11 as shippers: work on operational and allocation issues relevant to the integrated operations TNHA fields with RD platforms.
• Engineering companies: work on process engineering studies supporting for modifications and debottlenecking of Rong Doi processing systems and project developments for new fields.
• Certified Independent Verification Bodies such as VR, DNV, Lloyds, BV... - Providing technical verifications for system capacity recertification.
