As Product Development & Project Manager - Homeline, you will lead the identification of market opportunities and translate consumer insights, market trends and data into innovative Private Label (PL) product concepts and business initiatives.
You will work closely with Category Management, Sourcing, Supply Chain, Marketing, VM, E-commerce and Store Operations teams to bring new products and projects from concept to successful nationwide launch.
What you will do
🔹 Product Development & Innovation
Conduct market, consumer and competitor analysis to identify customer needs, trends and growth opportunities.
Identify and propose new Private Label categories and sub-categories based on market potential.
Develop product concepts, product proposals and product roadmaps.
Define commercial feasibility, including target pricing, margin and product differentiation.
Develop appropriate price architecture (Step-in / Good / Better / Best) for products and stores.
🔹 Cross-functional Collaboration
Partner with Category Managers and Sourcing Managers to translate product concepts into sourcing opportunities.
Work with sourcing teams to evaluate supplier capabilities, MOQ, lead time and compliance.
Collaborate with Operations, Marketing, Supply Chain and other functions to ensure successful product launches nationwide.
🔹 Commercial & P&L Ownership
Own PL category business objectives and commercial targets.
Monitor key performance indicators including sales, margin, pricing, stock rotation and activations across Offline and Online channels.
Monitor execution across VM, Trade Plan, In-store and Online touchpoints.
Identify and drive initiatives to achieve business and profitability objectives.
🔹 Project Management
Lead new projects to capture market opportunities and deliver business objectives.
Develop project plans and coordinate cross-functional teams.
Manage financial targets, execution and risks throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain, Marketing or related fields.
Experience
5-8 years of experience in Product Development, R&D, Category Management, Buying, Merchandising or Commercial roles.
Experience in Retail, Homeline or FMCG is preferred.
Key capabilities
Strong understanding of market trends, consumer insights and commercial opportunities.
Proven experience in developing product concepts and roadmaps.
Strong analytical skills and understanding of key retail KPIs.
Experience with P&L, sales, margin, pricing and stock rotation.
Strong cross-functional collaboration and project management skills.
Proficient in MS Office and Excel; experience with SAP or other ERP/retail systems is a plus.
Good command of English.
