1. Sourcing management
• Take ownership of and lead all tactical sourcing activities for the assigned commodities and business areas.
• Participate in and contribute to the execution of raw material sourcing strategies, where applicable and as assigned.
• Manage the supplier network to deliver value to the organization in terms of cost, cash flow, quality, on-time delivery, supply security, and safety.
• Conduct supplier negotiations for pricing, commercial terms, payment terms, and service levels within the delegated authority.
• Lead communication and coordination between internal stakeholders and suppliers for
purchasing-related activities and projects.
• Monitor and stay informed of raw material market developments, and provide insights into the supply-demand dynamics of assigned commodities.
• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of purchasing data and records within the assigned scope.
• Perform standard purchasing analyses and provide reports and insights upon request.
• Drive supplier actions in alignment with the Group's Responsible Purchasing and CO2 Reduction programs.
2. Purchasing operations
• Process purchase orders and contracts, follow up on deliveries, and support suppliers in resolving payment-related matters.
• Lead supplier communications and coordinate with internal departments to drive corrective and preventive actions related to quality, delivery, safety, and other supplier performance issues.
• Ensure all purchasing records are created, maintained, and archived in a timely manner and in accordance with company policies.
• Lead the supplier evaluation and performance assessment process.
• Advise internal and external stakeholders on purchasing compliance requirements, contractual terms, and conditions.
3. Compliance
• Comply fully with company policies, the Code of Conduct, and ethical business practices.
• Understand and implement the Internal Control and Risk Framework (ICRF) requirements established by the Group and the Company.
• Complete all mandatory training programs assigned by the Company.
4. Key Performance Indicators
• Cost Savings: Deflation (hard savings); Cost avoidance; Rebates; Productivity and consumption optimization savings.
• Cash Flow: Payment term improvement.
• Supply Security: Continuity and reliability of supply.
• Operational Excellence: Purchasing process efficiency and compliance.
• Innovation: Development and implementation of innovative materials and products.
• Sustainability: Responsible Purchasing initiatives and Scope 3 emissions reduction programs.
5. Undertake other tasks assigned by manager.
