Job Description
Our client is a foreign-invested company, now looking for a Senior Quality Control Officer (Furniture, 1200 USD, ID20112)
Develop, implement, and maintain an efficient and practical Quality Management System (QMS).
Ensure quality standards, procedures, and documentation are properly established, updated, and consistently followed.
Drive process standardization to enhance production consistency and operational efficiency.
Ensure all products comply with internal and customer quality requirements before shipment.
Manage and supervise in-process inspections and final quality checks.
Analyze quality issues, implement corrective actions, and prevent recurrence of defects.
Partner closely with production teams to maintain stable and consistent product quality.
Provide immediate support for quality-related production issues to minimize downtime, scrap, and rework.
Assist in new product launches, engineering changes, and process improvement activities.
Lead, supervise, and motivate the QC team to achieve quality objectives.
Define team expectations, monitor performance, and ensure accountability.
Train QC staff and production operators on quality standards, inspection methods, and best practices.
Identify opportunities to reduce defects, waste, and operational inefficiencies.
Improve process capability, product reliability, and manufacturing consistency through continuous improvement initiatives.
Promote a strong quality culture and encourage a quality-focused mindset throughout the organization.
Prepare and communicate regular quality performance reports to management.
Monitor key quality indicators, identify potential risks, and recommend preventive actions.
Collaborate with cross-functional departments to resolve quality concerns and support business goals.
Requirement
Male/Female, aged 28-40.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a Quality Control position within the wooden furniture / export furniture manufacturing industry for the U.S. market.
Proficient in both English and Chinese.
