Senior Software Engineer (Java/python/Go)

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and operate backend services for event processing, workflow orchestration, and task lifecycle management.
Build internal and external APIs with well-defined data contracts, ensuring scalability, extensibility, and long-term maintainability.
Develop data ingestion pipelines, asynchronous processing services, message queues, retry mechanisms, and fault-tolerant error-handling workflows.
Implement core business logic for routing, prioritization, task assignment, workflow execution, status tracking, and escalation management.
Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to consume standardized datasets and event streams while distributing processed outputs to downstream systems.
Integrate workflow engines, automation services, push notification platforms, webhook services, and third-party systems to support operational business processes.
Design and implement logging, audit trails, distributed tracing, monitoring, and alerting capabilities for production services.
Optimize backend performance, latency, throughput, scalability, and service reliability for high-volume production environments.
Design and manage appropriate data models, database schemas, caching strategies, message brokers, persistence layers, and transaction management.
Participate in production incident response, root cause analysis (RCA), post-incident reviews, and continuous service improvement initiatives.
Apply security best practices including authentication, authorization, access control, audit logging, and data protection throughout service development.
Support the integration of AI/ML inference results into backend services while collaborating with AI teams on production deployment.
Work closely with Product, Frontend, Data, AI/DS, and Platform Engineering teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Contribute to system architecture, technical design discussions, code reviews, engineering documentation, and software development best practices.
Mentor junior engineers in backend development, debugging, software quality, and production operations.
