Overview The Senior Sourcing Manager is a critical role within the Strategic Sourcing &Supply Chain organization responsible for converting demand plans, sourcing strategies, supplier commitments, and operational constraints into executable procurement decisions.
This role drives end-to-end BuySell operations across suppliers, factories, planning, engineering, finance, and IT organizations to ensure material availability, launch readiness, inventory optimization, and continuity of supply.
The successful candidate will lead cross-functional execution of forecasting, purchase order governance, supplier allocation, inventory management, system enablement, operational transformation, and process improvement initiatives while balancing supply assurance, cost, inventory exposure, and business objectives.

Responsibilities
Cross-Functional Supply Chain Leadership
Lead day-to-day BuySell operational decisions across demand, supply, inventory, procurement, supplier, and system domains.
Partner with Sourcing, Planning, Material Management, Engineering, Finance, IT, Manufacturing Partners, and suppliers to ensure effective execution of sourcing and supply chain strategies.
Drive alignment among stakeholders on supply risks, shortages, allocation decisions, inventory exposure, and procurement actions.
Forecast, Supply, and Purchase Management
Own forecast-to-purchase execution, ensuring alignment between demand plans, supplier commitments, inventory positions, and purchase order requirements.
Manage the complete PO lifecycle with price accuracy, supplier returns and risk-buy activities.
Drive allocation and supportability decisions during supply constraints and changing demand conditions.
Support launch readiness and business continuity by proactively mitigating supply risks.
Supplier Management and Collaboration
Manage operational relationships with key suppliers to ensure forecast alignment, order execution, delivery performance, supportability, and responsiveness.
Coordinate supplier communications related to allocations, shortages, price changes, inventory disposition, returns, and supply recovery plans.
Collaborate with sourcing teams on supplier strategy, commercial agreements, and supplier performance improvement initiatives.
Inventory, COS, and Excess Management
Drive inventory optimization while balancing business continuity and financial objectives.
Lead efforts to reduce excess and obsolete inventory exposure through creative inventory mitigation actions.
Manage Continuity of Supply (COS) risks and recovery plans.
System and Process Governance
Own BuySell operational readiness across systems and tools including SAP, Ariba, BuySell Portal, B2B integrations, Power BI reporting, and supporting applications.
Lead UAT activities, process validations, system implementation support, and operational cutovers.
Partner with IT and business stakeholders to resolve system defects, improve automation, and streamline operational workflows.
Operational Excellence and Transformation
Drive process standardization, automation, reporting enhancements, and data quality improvements.
Identify opportunities to leverage AI, analytics, and digital tools to improve operational efficiency and decision quality.
Develop scalable operating models, playbooks, and training materials to improve consistency and excellence.
Business Reporting and Decision Support
Prepare and communicate operational updates, supply risks, inventory exposures, supplier performance metrics, and executive-level business insights.
Support key business reviews including supply reviews, Demand Supply File, CTB, launch readiness reviews, and executive decision forums.
Develop actionable reporting and analytics to drive informed decision making.
Financial and Compliance Support
Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Tax, Trade, and AP/AR teams to support BuySell transactions and inventory ownership requirements.
Ensure compliance with financial controls, procurement policies, and operational governance requirements.
Support activities related to risk-buy approvals, resell programs, inventory ownership transitions, and transaction reconciliation.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Master's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Materials Science, or related field AND 3+ years experience in procurement, supply chain, sourcing, engineering, operations, or relevant sales-related roles.
OR Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Materials Science, or related field AND 4+ years experience in procurement, supply chain, sourcing, engineering, operations, or relevant sales-related roles or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
10+ years of experience in Global Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Sourcing, or related fields within high-tech or consumer electronics industries.
Proven experience managing complex global supply chains, suppliers, manufacturing partners, and cross-functional operations.
Experience supporting large-scale supply chain transformations, system implementations, and process improvements.
Supply Chain and Procurement Expertise
Solid understanding of planning, procurement operations, inventory management, and supplier management.
Experience managing PO lifecycle processes, forecast alignment, allocation strategies, shortage mitigation, and continuity-of-supply programs.
Knowledge of component procurement environments including semiconductors, memory, storage, processors, displays, or similar technology categories.
Business and Operational Skills
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions using complex and ambiguous data.
Ability to balance supply assurance, inventory exposure, cost considerations, and business priorities.
Demonstrated experience managing operational risk and driving resolution of critical supply chain issues.
Systems and Data Skills
Experience using enterprise systems such as SAP, Ariba, Power BI, forecasting platforms, supplier collaboration tools, and inventory management solutions.
Solid reporting, data analysis, and operational dashboard capabilities.
Experience driving automation, workflow optimization, and digital transformation initiatives.
Leadership and Communication
Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Ability to influence decisions without direct authority across global organizations.
Proven success in communicating effectively with executives, suppliers, manufacturing partners, and technical teams.
Solid presentation, negotiation, conflict resolution, and escalation management skills.
Additional Qualifications
Ability to thrive in highly dynamic and rapidly changing business environments.
Solid prioritization and execution discipline under pressure.
Professional certifications such as CPSM, CPIM, PMP, or equivalent are preferred.
Experience with AI-enabled business processes, automation solutions, and supply chain analytics is preferred.
Professional fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required.
Mandarin Chinese language capability is a solid plus.
