Job Description The Senior Tech Consultant works in Bluebik Global's consulting teams on enterprise architecture engagements for banks and large enterprises in the region, alongside senior EA experts and solution architects. The role turns business strategy into architecture a client can act on, and helps design how the systems behind it fit together.
The role is suitable for a consultant, solution architect or technical analyst with client-facing delivery experience who has some knowledge of enterprise or solution architecture, or a clear readiness to learn it.
Key Responsibilities
Run interviews and workshops with client business and IT teams, and turn what you hear into clear findings.
Help document current- and target-state architecture across business, data, application and technology layers (you'll learn the methods on the job).
Assess systems and processes, identify gaps, and shape roadmaps and recommendations.
Help design solutions: how applications, integrations, APIs and data fit together, and the options and trade-offs behind them.
Explain technical concepts to business stakeholders, and business needs to technical teams.
Produce client-ready deliverables and present them, in English & Vietnamese.
Qualifications & Experience
Vietnamese candidate currently residing and working in Hanoi, Vietnam.
Client-facing technical delivery experience, in a consulting firm or a client-facing advisory or delivery role.
Some knowledge of enterprise or solution architecture (from projects, a course or a certification), or a clear readiness to learn EA. TOGAF is advantageous, not required.
Genuine technical understanding: you can explain microservices, APIs, cloud and how systems connect. Coding is not required, though you're comfortable building simple prototypes and using AI tools in your work.
Some solution architecture ability: you can sketch how a system or integration should work and explain why, covering components, data flows and the main trade-offs.
Good spoken and written English.
Polished and confident in front of senior clients.
Able and willing to travel regularly in the region.
Adaptable and open-minded: you pick up new domains quickly (many of our people learned enterprise architecture on the job), change your approach when the evidence or the client's needs change, and own your work through to the end.
Hands-on technical delivery across a full implementation lifecycle (integrations, APIs, cloud or data) is advantageous.
AI or AI-agent experience, a technical degree, and implementation experience at a Big Four or consulting firm are advantageous.
Experience in banking or financial services, BIAN, or architecture tools is advantageous.
