1) Job Purpose
MONEY MARKET
- To manage liquidity and regulatory requirements for Maybank HCM as well as support Maybank Hanoi on Treasury activities.
- To ensure that the trading activities must be in line with the State Bank of Vietnam's Regulations and Maybank' s Guidelines
- To maintain bank's net open position, reserves and daily liquidity ratios in line with SBV's regulation; comply with HO's trading book and non-trading book limits.
- To observe the placement limits for banks approved by Head Office, review with FI-TB where necessary.
- To confirm the deals by Reuters Dealing System or telephone and complete dealing chit
- To work out daily exchange and interest rates for the branch and ensure that the exchange rates and interest rates are updated.
- To decide on movements from/to Nostro accounts (including accounts with HO, Maybank branches) to ensure account balances are maintained efficiently
- Submit reports on Treasury/FX as required by HO and SBV
SALES ACTIVITIES
- To enhance and widen relationship with interbank counterparties and corporate clients
- To generate maximum revenue and profitability through GM products
- To develop, maintain and expand client base for all Treasury products.
- To achieve all components of the budgeted figures and achieve the targets set for Treasury for FX and interest income.
2) Principle Accountabilities
* To achieve all components of the budgeted figures.
(i) To ensure to comply with all the State Bank of Vietnam and HO's stipulations.
(ii) To enhance and widen relationship with correspondent banks for their supports in terms of rates and to ensure the bank's payment ability especially in case of tighten liquidity in the market.
Qualification & Competencies
Qualification
- Level of Education: Preferably a Bachelor's Degree or above related to Banking & Finance.
- Years of Experience: At least 5 years of related experience in Treasury and Accounting
- Discipline/Related Field: Banking, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Economics, and Business.

Major Challenges
- To have better understanding in managing the Bank's liquidity and to minimize all risks involved in treasury operation i.e. interest rate risk and liquidity risk.
- To respond to inquiries from clients and internal stakeholders on Global Markets products and services and monetize the transactions.
