Configure and customize ServiceNow workflows, forms, UI policies, business rules, client scripts, and integrations.
Develop and maintain ServiceNow applications using JavaScript, ServiceNow APIs, and platform best practices.
Collaborate with
Business Analysts, Solution Architects, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.
Perform unit testing, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system performance.
Participate in code reviews and ensure compliance with coding standards and ServiceNow best practices.
Support platform upgrades, patches, and ongoing maintenance.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on ServiceNow development and platform administration experience, including platform enhancements, configuration, integrations, automation, upgrades, releases, technical troubleshooting, and support of ServiceNow environments.
• Experience translating approved business requirements into ServiceNow technical solutions and supporting technical UAT, release, upgrade, and post-deployment activities.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery practices and ServiceNow source control or Git repository integration for application lifecycle management is desirable.
Technical Skills
• Strong ServiceNow development expertise, including Flow
Designer, Integration Hub, workflow automation, Glide APIs, Script Includes, Scheduled Jobs, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, Record Producers, scoped application development, and secure scripting.
• Experience with integrations and data exchange using REST/SOAP, Scripted REST APIs, imports, exports, synchronization processes, and API-based automation.
• Experience configuring and developing Service Portal / Employee Center components, UI Builder, Workspaces, catalog items, forms, notifications, and modern user experiences.
• Working knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM modules and platform areas, including Incident, Request, Change, Knowledge, Catalog Management, CMDB, Performance Analytics, reporting automation, discovery or import mechanisms, and platform configuration.
• Experience with JavaScript scripting within ServiceNow and working knowledge of HTML and CSS for Service Portal development.
• Strong capability in technical troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, defect resolution, technical documentation, configuration records, testing evidence, release notes, and knowledge transfer materials.
