Social Media & Video Content Manager

This role will combine social media management, video editing, and audience engagement - with a focus on political campaigns, AI-powered marketing, and high-growth brand positioning.

Role Overview
This is a hands-on role that blends social media strategy, video content creation, and audience engagement. You will work directly with the CMO & Co-Founder to manage and grow ElectHQ's digital footprint across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter (X), and emerging platforms.
You'll take raw interview footage and transform it into high-quality, short-form video content (7-10 seconds max) optimized for viral reach. You'll also actively engage with political audiences, following influencers, joining conversations, and driving visibility among key decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities
1. Social Media Strategy & Management
• Develop and execute a content calendar aligned with product launches, campaigns, and political trends.
• Manage daily posting across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter (X).
• Track performance metrics, optimize engagement, and report insights weekly.
2. Video Editing & Content Creation
• Edit raw interview footage into 7-10 second high-impact clips designed for reels, shorts, and ads.
• Add captions, motion graphics, and sound enhancements for a polished, professional look.
• Collaborate with the CMO to brainstorm story-driven, shareable video concepts.
3. Audience Engagement & Growth
• Proactively engage with political conversations, trends, and influencers.
• Follow and interact with political candidates, thought leaders, and campaign accounts.
• Respond to comments, DMs, and mentions to build an active, loyal community.
