I. JOB DECRIPTIONS
1. Supplier Management:
Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers to meet the company's requirements for quality, cost, and delivery.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, addressing any issues promptly.
2. Strategic Sourcing:
Develop and execute sourcing strategies for various categories, including fitness equipment, home goods, and related products.
Conduct market research to stay informed of industry trends and potential new suppliers.
Implement best practices in sourcing to drive cost savings and efficiency improvements.
3. Contract Negotiation:
Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers.
Ensure all agreements are in line with company policies and objectives.
Manage contract renewals and amendments as necessary.
4. Cost Management:
Analyze cost structures and identify opportunities for cost reduction and value improvement.
Collaborate with finance and operations teams to achieve budgetary goals.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with product development, quality assurance, and logistics teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
Support new product launches by ensuring timely sourcing of required materials and components.
