ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
❑ Support purchase of supplies and materials according to requirements
❑ Monitor and assist with stock control, analysis and control of non-moving stock for possible obsolescence
❑ Issue and maintain Jobs for production
❑ Assist with management of quantities of raw materials in inventory, in transit, scheduled work orders, work in progress and back orders
❑ Send purchase orders to suppliers and request confirmations of ship dates, costs from suppliers
❑ Create purchase orders as requested by the ERP system or Planning
❑ Send purchase orders to suppliers and request confirmations of ship dates, costs from suppliers
❑ Maintain purchase orders in the ERP system
❑ Follow up purchase orders to ensure receiving materials on time
❑ Collect & send all shipping documents for purchase orders to related departments
❑ Update ship dates, due dates, invoices, costs in the ERP system to match with supplier's confirmations
❑ Inform management if suppliers changes lead times, material costs, shipment terms, late deliveries, etc
❑ Help coordinate consolidated component parts shipments to US divisions
❑ Maintain purchase histories of vendors and suppliers
❑ Carry out and maintain purchasing best practices and policies to ensure honest, fair, and ethical relationships with vendors.
❑ Help develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers in support of company objectives
