Skills/personal qualifications
• Knowledge of sourcing,
purchasing, and supplier management processes.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and technical drawings is preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation, analytical, and cost analysis skills.
• Good planning, organization, and time management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); ERP/SAP experience is an advantage.
• Good command of English for business communication; Chinese proficiency is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a cross-functional environment under pressure.
• Strong sense of responsibility, integrity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
Experience:
• At least 2 years of experience in sourcing, purchasing, supply chain management, or project management in a manufacturing environment. Candidates with technical knowledge or an engineering background are preferred.
Education and Certifications:
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
You will need to be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation, including:
- Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, meeting rooms, copier/printer etc as well as have the ability to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
- Required to retrieve or reposition products like sewing machines weighing up to 50 pounds
