Job Description:

This is an opportunity to join a top-notch Power Management IC (PMIC) Design Team with Renesas Electronics America's. As part of one of Renesas's prominent Design Groups, this Engineer will work on IC products for consumer and industrial power products. The role will be working hybrid (a blend of onsite and remote.)

The Design team is seeking for a Staff PMIC Analog Design Engineer who is technically savvy and is excited about working on cutting edge power solutions for Application Processors. You will support all operations activity and be the champion in managing our processes and systems, interfacing with multiple departments and external customers. Given the wide range of responsibility, we're looking for someone eager to learn, ready to hit the ground running, and help define what Design means for Renesas. What You'll do
• Work with sub-system architect, derive EPS, TPS and EDS for specific analog module
• Design CMOS/BCD power management circuits meeting performance, area, power and speed constraints
• Interface with layout verification, test, and Application engineers to successfully bring new products from initial concept through release to production
• Participate in discussions and draft documents of technical issues with internal teams and customers
• Instigate regular peer reviews with analog design engineers
• Guide the layout of circuit blocks for high speed performance and precision operations
• Design high voltage amplifier with both excellent frequency domain and time domain response
• Conduct schematic capture, circuit simulation, PCB layout
• Prepare technical documents for module manufacture and release
• Support module level and sub-system level and system level integration

Qualifications:

• 4 - 6 Years' experience in Product Design required
• Experience in power management architecture topologies, such as PWM control, constant-on-time control, and voltage/current mode controls.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and accuracy
• Design experience in CMOS/BICMOS required
• Advanced knowledge of Mixed-Signal Cadence tools and parasitic parameter extraction preferred
• Experience with supplier management and or collaborating with remote engineering teams
• Exposure to both development and manufacturing environments
• Must have highly developed written and verbal cross-functional communication skills

Education:

BSEE required (MSEE/PhD preferred)
