As Strategy Manager/Associate, you will work closely with and report directly to the company's high management team, developing and leading cross-functional strategic projects to accelerate Geniebook's expansion in its largest overseas market - Vietnam - and achieve its mission of being the largest education company in Southeast Asia.
The role is highly analytical and works across the organisation, including with Brand, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Curriculum to identify business opportunities and solve challenging problems so as to drive growth and customer satisfaction. A strategic mind combined with strong organisation, communication, and execution abilities is key to success.
Responsibilities
• Work alongside the Regional Head to refine and execute Geniebook's brand and marketing strategy to win in Vietnam
• Collaborate and drive product marketing plans and campaigns from start to end to maximize adoption of new offerings (i.e. scholarship focused program, premium program)
• Gather and provide local market insights (e.g. competitors, market trends, customer preferences) to inform development priorities and shape the roadmap for Product and Curriculum teams
• Provide analysis, recommendations, and options regarding high impact decisions, including strategic business partnerships, joint ventures, and acquisitions (SIMCC, VUS, Hocmai/Galaxy, but also MOET/school/B2B2C partnerships with banks/telcos etc.)
• Lead cross-functional projects to ensure achievement of best results in line with the company's vision
• Use quantitative and qualitative data to monitor progress of strategy execution, making recommendations on when to pivot or double down
• Act as a cultural bridge between Vietnam offices and other teams, facilitating mutual understanding and alignment to promote efficient and effective collaboration
• Be a local partner and ally to the regional head, offering on-ground insights and alerts to minimise blindspots and support timely decision-making
• Serve as a sounding board to the Vietnam team leaders, challenging ideas, ensuring strategic coherence, and maximizing the company's success
Yêu cầu
• 3-5 years in strategy, marketing, or
business development• Strong organisation and project management skills
• Analytical and data-driven, yet adaptable to lead in a dynamic environment
• Proficient in Vietnamese and English to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
• Deep understanding of Vietnam's and Singapore's cultures and education systems
