We are looking for a Structural Design Engineer with experience in industry and infrastructure design projects to join our team. In this role, the matched candidate will:
- Prepare structural design documents, specifically for secondary and main steel structures, structural steel connections, reinforced concrete elements, and other design briefs, specifications.
- Provide sketches for 3D model and drawing production.
- Conduct quality assurance (QA) of design documents, drawings, and models; incorporate the QA results for the next round of submissions.
- Collaborate closely with clients and other engineering disciplines to provide the best design solutions.
- Attend project meetings as necessary.
- Plan and progress on your own professional development.
- Perform other tasks as requested by the Project Lead/Manager.
We are looking for a flexible, detail-oriented team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks, produce quality work, and consistently meet deadlines. The successful candidate will possess:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural Engineering.
- More than 3 years of experience in structural design and calculations with Eurocodes.
- Strong academic background in reinforced concrete, steel structures, and structural analysis.
- Good communication skills in English (speaking and writing).
- Experience working with aluminum and wood structures is a plus.
- Good understanding of the Finite Element Method.
- Familiarity with calculation software such as Autodesk Robot, Idea Statica, MathCad, etc.
- Ability to prepare clear and professional engineering reports.
- Knowledge of coding/programming ability (e.g., Excel VBA, Python, or similar) is an advantage.
