RHS Job Title Student Booking Coordinator Job Description
Pay Rate: $16.15/hr The MSU Tours Student Booking Coordinator is an hourly position that assists Residence Education and Housing Services (REHS) Outreach team with a variety of back of house functions.
The Student Booking
Coordinator anchors Campus Group guest communications, bookings, and internal and external partner communications with full-time staff.
MSU Tours maintains a staff of 110+ undergraduate tour guides, along with10 student supervisors, and 2 graduate students. This role will directly work with office staff in the office to ensure a smooth and organized Campus Group Tour process from inquiry to execution. Relationship building with Outreach staff, Campus Partners, and educators across the state can be expected.
The position is on-site at the MSU Union sharing the REHS Outreach offices and flexible to meet the needs of the booking process. Weekly check-ins will be expected.
Responsibilities
Maintaining the MSU Tours Event Brite page, including available dates
Guest communication and problem-solving
Creating events and agreements in StarRez in alignment with REHS and MSU standards
Updating internal and external partners when changes occur
Booking academic spaces and communicating with MSU Office of Admissions
Following Up on Agreement Completions
Sharing scheduling details and guest expectations with the MSU Tours team
Working with MSU Tours Staff to create a seamless guest experience
Post-event follow-ups
Administrative functions of the MSU Tours Office
Other Duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Able to use Microsoft Office Suite Proficiently
Able to Interact with a Diverse Population
Have excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills
Be detail oriented with Strength in Balancing Multiple Requests at a Time
Be flexible and Open to Change
Be autonomous Time Management Skills
Be able to Follow an Outlined Process with Specialized Software
Have experience with MSU's Campus Layout and Buildings.
Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates with strong organizational, administrative, leadership, and communication skills.
Experience with tours a bonus.

Work Hours
This is an hourly position which requires 10-15 hours a week and may include weekend and evening hours. The position has flexible hours in order to respond to requests and timely follow-up as necessary.
