Supplier Quality Engineer

The Supplier Quality Engineer role aims to ensure that supplier parts and processes meet quality standards through effective supplier evaluation, PPAP approval, and ongoing quality performance monitoring.
This position supports stable production and continuous improvement by leading corrective actions, supplier audits, and cross‐functional collaboration to prevent quality issues
Main Responsibility:
Evaluate and approve Supplier PPAP submission such as:
+ Process Flow Chart
+ PFMEA
+ Control Plan
+ ISIR-D & ISIR - M
+ Process capability studies
+ Gage R&R
+ Samples
+ Pre-production or Run&Rate trials
Lead and be fully accountable Supplier Quality Assurance activities such as:
+ 8D
+ On site production process audit
+ Corrective action request and root cause analysis (6-Sigma - DMAIC, 7-tool)
+ Periodic Supplier audit, scorecard and continuous improvement plan.
Execute the Material receiving inspection plan.
Execute the quality plan to mitigate the quality turbulence on vehicle assembly line
Monitor, measure and validate the supplier's production part quality performance on a monthly basis.
Analyze quality data from suppliers to identify preventative maintenance plans and potential quality risk.
Propose corrective actions to address quality-related issues, short term action plan and permanent corrective action plan.
Coordinate with relevant departments within the company to resolve supplier-related issues.
Support suppliers in improving production processes and enhancing product quality.
