Job Description
1.
Purchasing:
• Source the suppliers and materials to build the supplier database and ensure the most competitive prices used for purchasing
• Cooperate with the customers/
designers and the suppliers in developing the new materials and products
• Visit/audit the suppliers on site if required
• Review the contracts with suppliers of goods and services before signing and manage all the contracts
• Ensure the purchase with right materials, quality, prices and on time delivery for production
• Make on time payment to the suppliers
• Get compensation for the faulty goods and services from the suppliers
2. Import and export:
• Control all daily import & export activities to ensure the on time shipments without extra charge and any stoppage
• Cooperate with Warehouse for smooth deliveries
• Provide the shipping advice and documents on time to the customers
• Ensure to use the most competitive services
• Ensure the correctness of the documents
• Make the annual reports to customs and all the reports required; work with the authorities if required
• Ensure all activities of the company in accordance with the related laws and the correctness of the data reported
• Update the laws fluently and advise the top managers if any change should be made in the company's procedures
3. Other tasks:
• Supervise the team
• Cooperate with other Departments in the company to ensure the work goes well
• Prepare for the quality audits (ISO/FSSC/Halal/...)
• Solve the problem if any
• Make improvements
• Make SOP and train the team
• Other tasks assigned by top managers
