Our client is a foreign-invested company, now looking for a Technical Manager (Plastic, $2.600, ID18246):
Review incoming job requests and establish work priorities. Organize and schedule maintenance, repair, and installation of machines, tools, utilities, and facilities to secure uninterrupted production operations.
Supervise the maintenance of utility systems to guarantee a continuous supply of energy and water required for production.
Direct and coordinate personnel involved in the installation, modification, troubleshooting, and maintenance of equipment.
Develop and implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance program in cooperation with other departments.
Analyze reports on production, quality, and maintenance statistics to adjust or enhance maintenance activities.
Ensure all technicians and operators receive adequate training on the correct operation and care of their equipment.
Request and manage specialized tools and equipment needed to execute preventive maintenance effectively.
Collaborate with Production, Quality Assurance, and Management to address maintenance concerns and recommend improvements for machine reliability and performance.
Track and control Repair & Maintenance (R&M) expenditures to remain within the approved budget.
Maintain accurate and updated records of all equipment and facilities; resolve issues connected to procedures, maintenance practices, and equipment history.
Monitor and regulate consumption of utilities such as water and energy to align with agreed targets.
Plan in advance for manpower and spare parts required for major overhauls; assess needed components, quantities, prepare purchase requests, and schedule overhaul timelines.
Regularly update overhaul schedules and coordinate activities with customers and the Planning Department.
Liaise with vendors and contractors to review service contracts, analyze repair history, and implement measures to minimize breakdowns and production interruptions.
Prepare the annual Repair & Maintenance budget, present it to top management, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Yêu cầu
Male; Under 50 years old.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field. A Master's degree is an advantage.
Experience: Minimum 7-10 years of progressive experience in engineering or maintenance management within a manufacturing environment, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Technical Knowledge: Strong background in preventive maintenance systems, utilities (power, water, compressed air, etc.), and production equipment. Familiarity with asset management and maintenance planning tools.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop technical teams; capable of building a strong engineering organization.
Analytical Ability: Skilled in analyzing maintenance reports, production data, and cost performance to identify improvement opportunities.
Budget Management: Demonstrated capability to prepare, monitor, and control Repair & Maintenance budgets.
Communication: Excellent coordination and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments and with external contractors or suppliers.
Languages & Tools: Proficiency in English and computer literacy (ERP systems, MS Office, maintenance software) are required.
