TECHNICAL MANAGER (TMS)

OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Technical Manager to lead the architecture, strategy, and end-to-end development of our Transportation Management System (TMS). The Technical Manager will be responsible for system design, database architecture, strategic planning, resource allocation, and guiding the development team to build a secure, scalable, and high-performance platform.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Architect and oversee the entire system design for a microservices-based TMS (Backend: Golang, Frontend: ReactJS, Mobile: Flutter);
- Lead database architecture and ensure scalability, reliability, and performance (PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka/NATS);
- Define technical strategy, project roadmap, and delivery timelines in coordination with cross-functional stakeholders;
- Mentor and manage technical leads and senior developers across multiple teams;
- Establish and enforce coding standards, development workflows, and technical best practices;
- Collaborate with product owners and operations teams to translate business needs into technical solutions;
- Supervise DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure monitoring, and security across all services;
- Continuously evaluate and recommend new technologies to future-proof the platform;
REQUIREMENTS
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in software development, with at least 5 years in a technical leadership or managerial role;
- Proficiency in Golang or equivalent modern backend technologies ([protected info], Java, etc.);
- Strong understanding of microservices, distributed systems, REST/gRPC APIs, and event-driven architecture;
- Deep experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka/NATS, Docker, and CI/CD processes;
- Expert in system design, Clean Architecture, SOLID principles, and software scalability;
- Demonstrated success in building and scaling production-grade platforms;
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills;
Nice to Have:
- Experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain systems;
- Knowledge of Keycloak/Auth0, ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana;
- Strong grasp of system security, API gateway protection, rate limiting, OAuth2;
- Entrepreneurial mindset with experience in fast-paced startup environments;
REPORTING & COLLABORATION
You will report to Director and work closely with Product Owners and cross-functional teams including Front-end, Mobile, QA, and DevOps;
