We are currently recruiting for the position of Technical Procurement Specialist to support the company. Below are the details of the position:
JOB DESCRIPTION:
1. Procurement - Vendor Management
Source, evaluate and develop local and international suppliers.
Negotiate, prepare and manage the execution of international and domestic
purchasing contracts.
Manage, classify and evaluate supplier performance based on cost, quality and delivery criteria.
Monitor and control purchasing price history; analyze and forecast market price fluctuations.
Work with related service partners including logistics, transportation and insurance providers.
2. Order Management
International Purchasing
Work with overseas suppliers and logistics/insurance partners.
Coordinate with internal departments to place and confirm purchase orders;
prepare and handle international trade documents, insurance and shipping documents.
Domestic Purchasing
Work with local suppliers and logistics/insurance partners.
Place, monitor and confirm domestic purchase orders to ensure timely delivery.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, International Business, Foreign Trade, Business Administration, or related fields; candidates with a technical background are preferred.
At least 2 years of experience in international procurement, with hands-on experience working with logistics and insurance service providers.
Mandatory experience in technical purchasing; preference for candidates from import-distribution companies or industries such as precious metals, machinery, industrial supplies, chemicals, or pharmaceuticals (managing >100 SKUs).
Good command of English for communication; proficiency in Chinese is an advantage.
Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to prepare quantitative reports and analyze business issues (advanced Excel skills required).
Ability to work under high pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Strong communication skills, including negotiation, persuasion, and logical presentation.
