Job Purpose:
• Assist and provide support to the Department with all levels in building, maintaining, modifying, or using advanced spatial analysis, data manipulation, or cartography software.
• Support and provide clerk works for the Department.
*Department Organisation Structure:
• Subsurface Manager - Deputy Subsurface Manager - Senior G&G Engineers - G&G Engineer- Technical Support Officer - Secretary
*Key responsibilities:
• Prepare, update structure/geological maps, cross section, figures for presentation materials, reports for conducting analytical processes.
• Manage database system in subsurface, GGRE data, spatial foundation data (topography, infrastructure, bathymetry, leases, block outlines, protraction areas, pipelines, coastline, countries limits, oil gas fields, well locations, etc), exploration data (geophysical & geological data, structural maps, competitors information, hotlinks etc) and projects/prospects data.
• Administer, monitor and continuously update GGRE database to ensure all information/ data are appropriately recorded and archived for immediate usage.
• Perform geospatial data building, modeling, or analysis using advanced spatial analysis, data manipulation or cartography software.
• Prepare and deliver data to Partners/PVN.
• Compile PC-based G&G reports, scan and digitalized maps, seismic line & tapes for exploration Projects, in order to ease the work process and meet the activity timeline.
• Edit/prepare maps, reports and enclosures.
• Load/export seismic and navigation data.
• Support/develop graphical displays for Management presentations and reports.
• Assist in preparing materials for all workshops including TCM & MCM (Slides and Booklets)
• Assist in preparing various documents and reports, process necessary updates and on-time issuance.
• Other tasks assigned by the Line Manager when appropriate.
