- Design, planning and developing production-process by analysing product specification and parts drawings.
- CAD/CAM drawings and program all CNC machines.
- Develop innovative solution to engineering problem.
- Reach & Development for Metal Cutting technology.
- Increasing productivity and minimize manufacturing cost.
- Trial and acceptance for new machine & equipment.
- Project management, leading project for First Articles.
- Issue work instruction packages.
- Analysing of production-process and solving problem from root cause.
- Working with
purchasing team to establish quality requirements from external suppliers.
- Continuous Improvement Processes
- Closed Production Order Variance, reasons for positive or negative manufacturing variances
- Recording and verifying Process Improvements
- Provide technical support to Production Department
- Support to design drawings for specify components, monitor the fabrication, assemble and test run for tools (cutter & fixtures) used in manufacturing and inspection gage.
- Support QMS manager in setting up and maintaining procedures of control documentation in Technical Department.
- In addition to the duties listed above, the position holder must carry out tasks assigned by superior.
a. Background /qualification:
- University/ College degree in technical discipline, mechanical engineering
b. Experience:
- Minimum 3-year experience in manufacturing
- Experienced in mechanical machining environment. Oil & Gas experience machining industry preferable
c. Special skill:
- Have knowledge of GD&T intermediate.
- Tooling selection and design
- Proficiency in 3D CAD/CAM with NX Unigraphics, CAD Solid Works 3D, Stimulations in Vericut and Cimco edit.
- Experience in product design, tooling, job card process
- Familiar with CNC machining processes and NC code: Siemens, Fanuc.
- Excellent in organization and communication skills
- Self-started and able to excel in a fast-paced environment.
- Fair English in communication, writing, reading.
- Be able to use Microsoft office.
