Engineering team takes charge of the testing, evaluation and validation of all our devices. We're a team of expert engineers responsible for the development of all test cases and test tools to ensure the functionality and compatibility of our products. We're involved in the whole testing process from preparing test and diagnostic programs to recommending changes in testing equipment procedures and designing new testing equipment.

What you'll achieve
As a Senior Test Engineer, you will be responsible for managing the test process supporting any combination of client, server or storage products for Dell. This opportunity offers a wide breadth of experiences and a dynamic work environment supporting various business units. It will also offer opportunities to build on your current experience and develop critical skills needed to succeed in a challenging technical environment.
You will
Supervise and support test execution for Dell products at various contract manufacturing sites in Vietnam.
Support deployment and bring up of early test processes for new products.
Assist/consult with supplier test engineers during Dell Product development phases.
Manage installation and bring up of test equipment to support mass production.
Generate and review Test Functional Plan/BOM and test coverage. Ensure test coverage and product quality are optimized.
Participate in supplier evaluations, audits and weekly product yield reviews.

Here's what we are looking for with this role:
Essential Requirements
Bachelor's degree in
electrical engineering or related technical major. Minimum 4 years working experience in test, design or manufacturing of electrical products.
Strong English communication skills, verbal and written; ability to communicate well in difficult situations.
Ability to understand simple to highly complex hardware configurations including PC, server, and storage systems.
Experience with hardware and software development lifecycle process.
Will be required to support meetings across various time zones on occasion. Willingness to a flexible work schedule.
Desirable Requirements
Thorough understanding of printed circuit board manufacturing process and test, including automated optical inspection (AOI), automated x-ray inspection (AXI), in Circuit Testing (ICT) and functional testing.
Action oriented driving for quick and accurate results.
