- The job holder manages the strategic planning and delivery of a portfolio of strategic initiatives and ensures timely delivery of agreed business outcomes within budgeted cost.
- The job holder institutionalizes strong project management practices across the portfolio of Strategic initiatives.
- The job holder builds capabilities with the project teams to problem solve and deliver solutions for effective transformation.

Strategic Planning
- Drive the development of Strategic Initiatives as per the Bank's 5 Year Strategic Masterplan. As required, define and establish the portfolio of strategic initiatives aligned with the Bank's strategy and focus
Managing Projects
- Oversee the delivery of the portfolio of strategic projects within agreed scope, budget, timelines and quality standards, applying the Bank's project management lifecycle và standards.
- Lead the adoption of best-in-class project management practices including tools, methodologies and standards across the Bank.
- Ensure transition of newly developed solutions into operations to comply with business requirements, regulations, and internal control standards for operationalization.
- Design and execute program governance framework and standards across delivery of all foundational projects.
- Identify and manage cross-project and cross-functional issues, interdependencies, and risks; facilitates risk mitigation at portfolio level.
- Manage overall resources (budget, people) and ensure optimal utilization.

Stakeholder Management
- Manage relationships and alignment of initiative objectives and solutions with senior stakeholders. Including CEO, HoDs et al.
- Lead the collaboration process with advisors and vendors to ensure scope and quality of work are achieved.

Talent Development
- Organize and support the team to adopt best-in-class project management practices in delivering value to internal customers. Apply Agile/Waterfall approaches as best fit to balance customer centricity with delivery assurance.
- Coach team members to strengthen knowledge and demonstrate the required mindset and behaviors.
- Attract, motivate and retain employees across all levels for a high performance culture.

Domain Expertise
- 15+ years of relevant experience in a bank or financial institution
- 10+ years of experience managing large project teams
- 10+ years of project or program management experience in banking
- Demonstrated skills in financial management, budgeting, senior stakeholder management, procurement and contract negotiations
Agile / Digital Experience
- Demonstrated experience leading large scale transformation or digital projects
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Business, Banking, Finance or a relevant discipline
- Formal project management certification (PMP, PgMP)
