Dolphin Manpower is seeking an experienced Technical Development Lead on behalf of a multinational client in the fashion and uniforms manufacturing industry.
This role is responsible for leading the technical development process from pattern creation to production-ready samples, ensuring pattern accuracy, grading consistency, and efficient sample development.
The successful candidate will manage the Pattern, Marker, and Sampling teams, oversee the use of PAD / Gerber CAD systems, and ensure that garments move smoothly from design concept to final sample while maintaining high standards of quality, fit, and production feasibility.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the technical development team, including Pattern Makers, CAD/Marker staff, and Sampling technicians.
Oversee the development of patterns, grading, and markers to ensure accuracy and production efficiency.
Manage and optimize the use of PAD and/or Gerber CAD systems for pattern and marker development.
Coordinate with design, merchandising, and production teams to ensure smooth sample development and technical alignment.
Review and approve patterns and samples to ensure fit, construction, and quality standards meet company and client requirements.
Ensure all technical specifications and documentation are completed accurately for production.
Provide technical guidance and training to team members to improve efficiency and technical capability.
Monitor development timelines to ensure samples are delivered on schedule for production planning.
Yêu cầu
Minimum 7 years of experience in garment technical development, pattern making, or sampling.
Of tthat, at least 3 years of experience managing or leading a technical development team.
Strong expertise in PAD and/or Gerber CAD systems.
Solid knowledge of pattern making, grading, garment construction, and fit analysis.
Experience working with fashion or uniform manufacturing is preferred.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple development projects.
Fluent English for communication with international teams and clients.
