Job Summary

· Determine training requirements and deploying suitable training program for all staffs within technical departments and Contracted AMOs.
· Schedule and deploy approved training courses in accordance with VAG technical training program and training procedures.
· Organize examinations and grant certificates to trainees who have successfully completed their training courses; maintai training course records
· Prepare suitable equipment and training documents for training courses.
· Establish and update a knowledge base for instructors; provide orientation for new instructors and managing instructor records.
· Determine training course costs.
· Supervise the collection of training records and trainee evaluations and distribute the results to the trainee managers.
· Ensure training records are complete and current.
· Recommend appropriate training to Technical Training for Engineering Department staff and ensure that this training is carried out as practically as possible.
· Review, revise and submit for approval training procedures and syllabi when modern technology and evolve maintenance practices necessitate.
· Consult with the managers of related units to ensure training courses are meeting the needs of the company.
· Perform other tasks assigned by the Technical Director.
· Responsible for the management of the Training Department staff and assign authority and responsibility by defined procedures.
· During absence, the Technical Training Manager assign his responsibilities to suitable Manager to ensures that a suitable delegation process in accordance with regulatory and VAG requirements are met for each Manager in Technical Department who is not available to perform their regular duties either by travel, leave, illness, etc.

· Monitor the revision, amendment, update of training content, curriculum and material.
· Review the latest regulations, laws issued by authorities and ensure that the training contents are complied with their requirements.
· Collect the necessary training needs and contents from VTA departments to give advices on training curriculum or syllabus etc.
· Support to close the findings.
· Liaise the external training centres to provide the outsourcing training courses.
· Communicate, arrange instructors and trainees and make sure classroom, training material, training support equipment are available.
· Map out training plans, deploy training programs (outsourced or in-house) for Technical Department.
· Determine training course costs.
· Coordinate training program with customer and technical training service organizations.
· Assess instructional effectiveness and summarize evaluation reports determining the impact of training on employee skills and how it affects KPI's.
· Maintain updated examination question bank, curriculum database and training records
· Perform other duties that may be assigned by the Training & Workshop General Manager

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
1. Education level:
· Bachelor Degree in Engineering or related are.
· Aeronautical Engineering background is preferred
· Fluent in English
2. Specific requirements:
· At least 05 years in aviation training
· Experience with instruction or training
· Knowing AMOS is preferred
