Brand managers are responsible for developing brand initiatives, promoting brand growth and expansion, implementing brand plans, and using a variety of data to drive volume and profitability. Brand managers are focused on achieving brand business objectives in the short and long term.
Responsible for achieving Brand objectives with respect to sales volume:
- Manage external agencies and suppliers (expert partners)
- Conducts analysis and periodical reviews of the brand, competitive, category, customer and consumer trends
- Propose and monitor brand activities in order to address identified brand issues
- Drive brand activities in order to satisfy consumer needs
- Oversee and input into the development of operational brand plans
Drive innovation and creativity in products and brand activities:
- Explore new business opportunities for the brand expansion
- Analyze and propose relevant research studies
- Increase brand awareness of categories
- Ensure the application of the best practices of brand management tools
- Increase consumer engagement in all effective communication channels
- Utilize research data/findings and market information effectively
Implement A&P Budget effectively to ensure ROI
- Control brand support expenditure
- Improve brand profitability through implementing cost control measures
- Manage the impact of each cost element on brand profitability
