Also you need to be able to write detailed SQL reports. For example a report showing all the students who have attended training over the past 3 months, and merge data from their assessments, the mentor reports, marks from the teacher etc to create one single report which contains 10 to 20 different datasets.
Bonus: If you&039;ve had experience setting up CDN servers and DevOps like Jenkins and can help automate our builds and deployments that&039;ll be great.
So you need to be able to translate business logic into a series of SQL queries and then automate that based on a schedule (e.g. weekly, daily, monthly, ad-hoc).
You&039;ll work closely with the front-end team and other back-end developers to build out the API, add new reports to our SSRS library and write complex SQL queries.
We&039;re building a large scale learning & collaboration SaaS product with customers in Asia, Middle East and Africa and looking for an expert SQL Developer who&039;s also specialized in .NET Core to join our fast growing team in Ho Chi Minh City and help drive our analytics and reporting modules.
Your job initially will be to help to automate complex functions based on a timed schedule, for example sending reminders to students to complete their assignments every week or to assign tasks to students after they&039;ve completed a course.
Lastly you should be able to build and maintain our .NET Core API. We use Dapper as the ORM. There are around 2000 end points so it&039;s a very big API and you should be comfortable working at scale.

Here&039;s a summary of the key skills you need:
CDN and Caching: Set up CDN caches to improve performance especially for images for videos
TSQL: Write complex SQL queries which are optimized for speed. Work with Scalar and Table Functions and know best practices to handle data at scale.
.NET Core API: You should be able to maintain, debug and expand our .NET Core API
SSRS: End to end experience setting up an SSRS server and writing complex reports.
SignalR: You should have deep experience with real-time APIs
Dev Ops: Set up automated deployment pipelines for our front-end and back-end deployments
