Job Purpose Summary
Key Responsibilities (List key responsibilities of position)
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies across key
commodities
• Drive cost optimization initiatives (VE, benchmarking,
global sourcing)
• Lead or support strategic negotiations with key suppliers
• Identify and assess supply risks across commodities
• Define multi-sourcing and risk mitigation strategies
• Provide early warning and strategic response to supply
disruptions
• Work closely with Head of
Purchasing to align strategy and
execution
• Provide strategic direction while Purchasing leads
operational execution
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Finance, and
Project Management teams
• Influence product design and sourcing decisions from early
NPI stages
Bachelor's degree or above in Supply Chain, Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields
Minimum 10 years of experience in sourcing/procurement or supply chain
Strong experience in strategic sourcing in manufacturing/electronics industry
• Experience working with global suppliers is highly preferred
• Strong strategic thinking and business acumen
• Advanced negotiation and influencing skills
• Senior-level stakeholder management capability
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
