ABOUT THE ROLE
Crossian is a high-growth technology-driven e-commerce business. Behind our success is our people. As a start-up formed in 2020, we have created a fast-paced and dynamic environment, enabling our people to reach a cumulative average growth rate of over 400% in just under 3 years. Our mission now is to build direct-to-consumer brands and increase customer LTV.
We are looking for an intermediate/Senior Video Editor to assemble footage into an engaging video that will attract customer's attention on different social platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and TikTok. You will be working with our in-house Content Specialists and Graphics Designers to merge and edit video clips into seamless videos that bring intended message to the targeted audience.
This is a challenging but exciting sales-driven job of which you will be rewarded accordingly. Now the answer is up to you: Are you ready to join the crew?
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Review video scripts and materials in collaboration with in-house team/independently
Create short videos that effectively highlight product unique selling proposition to the target audience/customer
Ensure a coherent storyline and message to optimize outcomes
Continuously explore and implement new editing techniques and industry best practices to enhance efficiency
Regularly devise plans to effectively manage personal tasks and workload

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Video Editor, including at least 1 year in a team environment
IELTS 6.5 or equivalent proficiency in English
Possession of a Bachelor's degree or technical certificate in a relevant field is a plus
Proficient use of video design software such as Premiere Pro, Davinci, Capcut, etc.
Basic experience in using After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator
Proven track record in creating Facebook Ads/TikTok videos
Ability to understand the desired outcome of a Facebook advertising video and bring it to life
Experience in editing videos of different lengths
Experience in creating 2D animation is a plus
Creative mindset and storytelling skills
Ability to communicate effectively with different stakeholders
Strong collaboration skills with other creative professionals to deliver high-quality final products
