1. Warehouse Operations and Inventory Management
Analysis & Reporting:
- Analyze the status of goods, especially issues related to Inventory and unresolved items (e.g., in the DA warehouse, held cargo), and provide timely feedback to the customer.
- Check attendance status and work efficiency to evaluate the warehouse's Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Coordination & Planning:
- Check customer requirements, plan, and coordinate staff for packing, cargo pulling, and other operational activities.
- Plan for overtime (OT) work, arrange personnel, ensuring efficiency, minimizing waste, and complying with Labor Laws and Code of Conduct (e.g., RBA).
- Develop prevention plans for potential incidents that may occur during operations.
Problem Solving:
Chair meetings to address critical issues related to:
- Unresolved inventory and held/pending cargo.
- Container yard "cut-off" times and the status of rejected/urgent containers.
2. Human Resource and Safety Management:
- Supervise, remind, and train employees on safety regulations and workplace rules to prevent accidents and incidents, ensuring a safe and professional working environment.
- Evaluate employee work performance and propose improvement measures.
- Support the Human Resources department on personnel-related issues at the warehouse (e.g., timekeeping, scheduling).
3. Compliance and Improvement:
- Ensure all warehouse operational procedures comply with quality standards, company regulations, customer requirements, and legal mandates.
- Propose and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operating costs.
Education: College Degree or higher.
Experience: Preference for candidates with experience in a Warehouse Manager or equivalent role within the Logistics/Warehousing sector.
Professional Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management, Logistics, and Supply Chain.
- Excellent personnel management and Inventory Management skills.
- Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate work effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and quick decision-making abilities.
- Foreign Language: Good English communication (a significant advantage).
