YOUR ROLE A warehouse operations intern provides back up to other warehouse operations team members to perform activities including but not limited to inbound, outbound, inventory control, and QHSE.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Organize stock within the warehouse in their designated location
Maintain accurate records of product receipts and dispatches
Verify all incoming shipments to be accurate by comparing with the pre-alert in order to ensure all goods are in excellent condition
Monitor and report any missing or lost inventory to management
Properly pack items to be shipped according to company standards to ensure they arrive in excellent condition
Organize and sort items on shelves or racks according to company standards
Accurately maintain company database including all stock and warehouse items
Regularly conduct house keeping activities in the warehouse and office areas to ensure the working environment is clean, tidy, and well-organized
Support warehouse team with general duties of planning, scheduling, and
purchasing consumables
Assist and participate with other team members during visits or audits of customers
Actively attend training courses organized by the Company and other departments
Other tasks will be assigned by management
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Education: Final year student or fresh graduated
Experience: Previous internship experience in Logistics or Supply Chain is preferred.
Ability to work full-time for at least 4 days/week, between Monday and Saturday
Ability to maintain a high level of physicality for prolonged periods and working primarily standing
Interpersonal skills are essential, as working as a team is vital to maintaining and organized warehouse
Ability to problem solve quickly and prioritize daily tasks according to their importance
Experience with software such as Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and other company spreadsheet programs. Good understating of Warehouse management system is preferred
English skills: Intermediate level in Writing and Speaking
